Graphic recording
Graphic recording—also known as graphic harvesting, live illustration, or visual note-taking—is the art of capturing ideas in real time, as they’re spoken, through images and words.
We get called ‘those girls that draw!’ and love it, but for us its not just about performing or drawing pretty pictures. It’s about offering clarity, connection, and reflection.
At Drawesome, we join your event—physically or digitally—and visually map the energy, insights, and ideas being shared. Whether it’s a conference, strategy session, community consultation, or creative workshop, we create a living record of the conversation as it unfolds.
The result? Instant visuals that help people feel seen, ideas become visible, and insights stay alive long after the room clears.
What we offer:
Live, in the room: Using paper, boards, or digital tablets, we draw in real-time at your event.
Live, remotely: We can also join your online event and draw digitally—sharing visuals as they’re created.
Post event: You send us your reflections, recordings or feedback and we create a post event harvest for you to share with your audiences
We can also offer engagement harvests and take on facilitation roles, but consider this visual facilitation rather than graphic harvesting (add link).
Why Graphic Recording works:
Instant visuals = Instant engagement
Ideas are captured as they’re shared—turning conversations into vibrant, visual artefacts that can be displayed, shared, and acted on.
From overload to overview
Busy gatherings often lead to lost insight. Graphic recording helps synthesise complexity and highlight what matters—making information easier to process, remember, and revisit.
Inclusion through imagery
Visuals cross language, jargon, and hierarchy. They help people feel heard and valued—especially when coming from different perspectives or communities.
Fuel for reflection and action
Seeing your own words reflected back invites deeper thinking. It helps groups identify patterns, build shared understanding, and explore new possibilities.
