Eimear McNally

Introducing Eimear

I began graphic recording in 2009 as part of myr work as a facilitator and trainer in the Global Citizenship Education sector. I have worked freelance in visual facilitation and graphic recording since 2015. I bring my experience of creative teaching and learning to my visual facilitation work. Since becoming freelance I have worked with a wide variety of clients including multinational companies, small businesses, innovation consultancies and non-profit organizations.

There are three main threads to my work in 2026; Creative facilitation, Graphic recording and Illustration. All three require different skillsets and approaches. In my facilitation practice, I draw on my training in Art of Hosting methods, Systems Change methods and Design Thinking methods.

I am currently delivering a module on “Visualising Concepts” as part of the Masters in Design Innovation in Maynooth University. I was Assistant Lecturer in Crawford College of Art & Design (MTU), teaching on the Creativity & Change course in the Department of Arts in Health & Education from 2015- 2024. There, I developed and led trainings in Visual Facilitation, Critical Literacy, Creative Global Citizenship Education and Exploring Systems Visually. I have also designed and led trainings & workshops for Government Departments and Research Institutes seeking to be more creative in how they engage stakeholders.

I am especially interested in supporting the activities of any organisation working for a Just Transition or working to restore health in ecological and social systems.
